The Aiken Technical College One Stop Career Center

The Aiken Technical College One Stop Career Center is funded by a grant through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) in collaboration with Aiken Technical College.

The One Stop Career Center is open to students, graduates and the general public for job and career services.

The Center offers computerized testing and career exploration software. All services are available at no charge.

Employment Services

The One Stop Career Center offers employment services to its customers that will provide them with the resources to get the jobs they want.

Local and statewide job listings
Group/individual workshops on such topics as interviewing, resume writing, etc.
On-site job interviews
Assistance with job search activities

Training Services

Training is available to individuals who are interested in upgrading their skills to obtain employment at a self-sufficient wage. Training programs include but are not limited to:

On-the-job training
GED training
Nursing assistant
Welding
Electronics Engineering Technology
Truck Driving
Early Childhood Development
Computer Technology
Human Services
Industrial Process Technology

Resource Center

Resources are available for job search activities to help make employers more accessible to you and to help you make informed career decisions. Resources include but are not limited to:

Internet job search
Job boards and job books
Career books and videos
Computer software
Updated Labor Market information
Local daily newspapers
Listings of colleges and universities
Resume and cover letter style help

One Stop Partners

Referrals are made to partnering agencies to provide further assistance to customers as needed. Partners also provide services in the One Stop Career Center.

Hours

Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Location

The One Stop Career Center is located in the Ashley J. Little Administration Building room 166 on the Aiken Technical College campus.
